Svenska Bostadsfonden invests in Swedish residential rental properties, focusing on small and medium-sized growth and commuting municipalities that demonstrate a wide ranged and diversified business life and preferably a slightly increasing population in recent times. We invest in at least two municipalities per issue which serves for a good geographical spread of risk.
Sweden's regulated rental market means that the cost of acquiring existing rental property is significantly lower than building new rental properties. This means that the supply of rental properties is limited and that the value of our properties is maintained.
One of the most important tools in Svenska Bostadsfonden's investment process is our in-house developed municipality analysis. By a thorough analysis of demographic flows, business life, the local property market and other important factors we make certain to invest only in municipalities with high growth potential and low risk for future vacancies.
Below you will find summaries about the municipalities Svenska Bostadsfonden already invested in. These should only be seen as illustrations of our work within municipality analysis and not as any indication of future growth possibilities.
